FAQ's

  1. What do I need to do to register for camp?
If you are a group leader, please click on the “Register Now” button and follow the directions to register online, by phone, or by mail. A minimum deposit of $250 (5 students) is required to lock in the specific rate for your entire group. As long as GO TELL receives the minimum deposit of $250 before the expiration of the rate period you are registering for, you will secure the rate for your entire group! You may then add people to your group (even in April, May, or June!) at the same rate, as long as space is available.

If you are a student, talk to your youth group leader about attending a GO TELL camp this year; or talk to your parents about chaperoning a group of your friends.

  2. How much are deposits?
Deposits are $50 per person. The deposits for students and chaperones are the same: $50 for each.

  3. Are the deposits refundable?
No. Unfortunately, the deposits are not refundable. Please err on the safe side when estimating numbers of students; you can always add people to your group as long as space is available!

  4. How many chaperones are needed for each group?
We suggest one chaperone for every seven students; there should be female chaperones for the girls and male chaperones for the boys.

  5. Can a student go to camp by himself/herself?
Any student may come to camp with a chaperone… most students will travel with their church youth groups, but some will come with their parents (or a group of friends will come with a parent as a chaperone).

  6. What about the bus drivers? Where do they stay?
In Toccoa, most groups make arrangements for their drivers to stay at the Toccoa Inn (706-886-1048). In Nacogdoches, Campbellsville and Lynchburg, most drivers stay at nearby hotels.

  7. What are the age requirements for camp?
GO TELL Camps are for rising 7th graders through graduated seniors.
