- Was formed in 1985 as a music & worship ministry
after Chuck graduated from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA., with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Vocal Performance.
- While attending college, Chuck was a part of the Sounds
of Liberty, a performance & recording group that sang on the nationally televised
broadcast, “The Old-Time Gospel Hour,” with
Dr. Jerry Falwell.
- Chuck traveled with Dr. Falwell as a personal soloist
for six years before moving to Nashville, TN.
- Chuck worked in Nashville while helping Bill Gaither
start a new group. He has continued to work as a studio session singer doing background
vocals, demos, choral projects, etc., with such well-known arrangers as Don
Marsh, Don Wrytzen, David Clydesdale, Greg Nelson, Lari Goss, Dave Williamson,
and the popular Gaither Homecoming series.
- Was on staff for 5 years at Rehoboth Church in Atlanta,
GA as Special Assistant to the Pastor and Staff Soloist for the national television
program, “There’s Hope!”
- Was a frequent guest on Trinity Broadcasting Network’s,
“Praise The Lord” program with frequent
host, Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law & Justice.
- Chuck was a part of the Dove Award nominated group, Friends
IV, a jazz/gospel vocal group in ministry all over the nation. In fact, they appeared
at many rallies for author/pastor David Jeremiah and his radio
program, “Turning Point.”
- Was a featured soloist on Integrity’s successful
musical project called, Mighty Cross, the follow up
to the successful, God With Us.
- Chuck has done guest appearances with the Gaither Vocal
Band over the last 18 years and can be seen as part of the Gaither Video Series
with Friends IV.
- Chuck was featured as a guest soloist on one of the Brooklyn
Tabernacle projects, singing “Calvary Came Through.”
- Was featured on special broadcasts and recorded projects
for, “Insight For Living,” Chuck Swindoll’s
international radio program called, “Heart Aligned” & “Embrace
the Cross.”
- Husband & Father: Married Jennifer in 1988. 3 children:
Casey (14), Patrick (12) and Connor (10)
- Formerly Artist-In-Residence and member of First Baptist
Church Snellville, GA, with James Merritt
- Was a featured artist at the Southern Baptist Convention
- Was a part of the Ravi Zacharias Founder’s
Meeting concert series
- Has been the Worship Leader , Director of Music and soloist
for Go Tell Crusades since 1998. Through this ministry, Chuck and the GT team
have seen literally thousands drawn to Christ through the Holy Spirit in these
outdoor arena events. Fact: the founder and speaker for this ministry, Rick Gage
feels called to county seat towns to share the message and love Christ and that
is what they do in states all over the country.
- Was part of the Regeneration and Renewal emphasis at
the Christian Bookseller’s convention in 2000 which was lead by many of
the nationally recognized leaders such as Ravi Zacharias, the
late Bill Bright, John Ankerberg, Chuck Swindoll, etc.
- Chuck took the position of Music of Minister and Worship
Leader at Roswell Street Baptist Church and was a part of that ministry for 2
years.
- Launched back into his music ministry full time in May,
2004
- Is currently a member of Grace Fellowship Church –
a thriving community church in the eastern Atlanta area – church population
has 1600+ youth
- Leads worship for AWANA at Grace Church
